About LawpalAI
LawpalAI is an AI-powered legal technology platform built specifically for Nigerian law, made up of two products. Counsel is our AI assistant — legal research, document drafting, and contract review in a single conversation, grounded in an indexed library of Nigerian case law, statutes, and legal textbooks, so the answers you get are traceable back to real authorities, not just plausible-sounding text. Chambers is our practice management product — matters, diary, billing, and reports for a solo lawyer or a full firm, so the work Counsel helps you produce has somewhere real to live.
We built it because legal work in Nigeria is too often slowed down twice over — once by the sheer volume of material a good answer requires, and again by the spreadsheets, paper diaries, and scattered files a practice runs on day to day. LawpalAI closes both gaps, so the people using it can spend their time on judgment, not lookup or admin.
Our Mission
To make rigorous legal research and drafting fast enough that it fits into anyone's workflow — a law firm's, a judge's chambers, a student's revision, or a member of the public trying to understand where they stand — and to give the practice built on that work a home that's just as fast: one place to track every matter, hearing, and invoice, without cutting corners on the accuracy or reliability legal work demands.

- Practice management (Chambers) — matters with a live docket, a shared diary that flags clashing hearing dates, time and billing that turns into an invoice, and reports on demand — for a solo practitioner from day one, or a full firm.
- Firm and team accounts — a law firm gets a dedicated Chambers dashboard to manage members and see usage and billing across the team, while every member keeps their own personal Counsel account underneath it.
